Super Glissades Saint-Jean-de-Matha — Attraction in Saint-Jean-de-Matha

Terrible service!

TLDR: The place closed down due to rain which causes the slides to become dangerously fast when sliding on ice. This is understandable because our safety comes first. However, their management of the situation is terrible. We paid for 4 hours and waited an ~hour in line to get a refund. We were denied at the cash register when the employees outdoors stated we could at least get our money back. They only offered a discount for our next visit. Which might never happen. We would still have to spend a lot of money on tickets.

-Didn't get to slide. -Didn't get a refund. -Didn't get any warnings. -Waste of my time. 1H30 -No explicit or concrete policies on refunds and closures -The man at the cashier was very dismissive of us -No Apologies

Seems to me that they have had this issue for the past 3 days and knew about it. Yet they still decide to sell us tickets with no warning.

A business pulling this kind of crap has no integrity.

My Advice, don't risk it and spend that...

Went as part of a Uni trip. There are 3 main sections to comment on for the snow-tubing. The first is the reception area where seemingly there is no safe place to leave equipment or bags at. Upstairs is a cafeteria selling overprices drinks and fries and tiny hamburgers and hot dogs which do not seem appetizing at all.

Best to avoid the cafeteria but there is enough seating space to accomodate you if you bring your own food. The attractions themselfs are quite repetitive but overall there is some slight variations between rides that keeps them interesting. One of the rides was even ranked as kamikaze and for the unfortunate person sitting on one of the sides this means flying out and onto the other people. That was super fun to catch on film! I called them and asked if they were open and fully open. I was told that 7/13 family slides were open and 3 "adrenaline".

So I made my reservation online, drive an hour to get there. And once I got there they closed the everything. I then proceeded to wait 50 minutes in line to reach the ticket counter. I asked for a refund because they didn't provide the service. They told me, no they dont do refunds.

This was the last day that the kids were here before going back to thier father's in newfounland, so we cant reschedule.

With the drive back that's three hours of the last day with the kids, wasted. All this after I literally called them an hour ago. They couldnt even give us the curtosey of refunding our money after literally...
