Kors and Gisele provided my 19-year-old son and myself with a great afternoon, sharing their passion for the birds of the area, for the local history of the Acadian people and of course for the seal colony. We were camping at Kouchibouguac National Park and the unusually hot weather (in mid-September) had us searching, at the last minute, for ways to stay cool. This Phoca Tours excursion, on a large, comfortable and safe, triple pontoon boat, exceeded our expectations. It's great to see people in the hospitality industry genuinely interested in delivering great value for their guests. Highly...

Can't say enough good things about our excursion with the Phoca Tours people yesterday. For five years, we've been driving by the sign in Saint-Louis-de-Kent advertising their marine safaris, saying, "We should do that sometime."

We finally did, with Alberta guests in tow, and it was absolutely magnificent. I had no idea there were so many seals in our neck of the woods, to say nothing of all the other wildlife and stunning beauty we saw. Three hours extremely well-spent - friendly, knowledgeable guides and even snacks! So highly...

This was an amazing pontoon boat tour, it gave a whole new appreciation of Kouchabougauc National Park. We saw very large groups of seals, lots of eagles, heron, yellow legs, terns and many others. The operators and guide are also very knowledgeable about the history of the area. I personally enjoyed hearing about the lobster fishing in the area. All occupants were supplied with binoculars and we were offered drinks and snacks. I have been on many tours during world travels, and this was definitely one of the most entertaining and...

Had just the best time today cruising the Kouchibouguac River with nicest hosts Kores and Gisèle. Between the herons and eagles and osprey we managed to visit with about 1500 seals who were just as curious about us as we were about them On top of all we saw - we got to hear all about the history of the area and the fishing industry and the Acadian people Highly recommended for anyone who wants to have a truly wonderful time experiencing the wonders of this area

This is an amazing boat trip, we slowly meandered downstream amongst the ducks and geese, as eagle watched on. No one can prepare you for the natural beauty of the sand dunes and “bingo”! A chorus of grey seals serenaded us in as we drifted gently towards these iconic mammals. No visitor to the National Park should miss this experience.

Very good experience. The guides were all very knowledgeable and personable. They also all spoke various languages and were able to speak the three different languages of the guests on board. Saw lots of seals and learned lots of historical facts. Highly recommend.
