Located on Île aux Noix, the fort is very well preserved and offers an engaging and educational experience for visitors of all ages. What makes this site special is how it combines learning with fun. There are plenty of activities for kids and adults alike, making it easy to keep everyone entertained while discovering the historical significance of the fort. We highly recommend joining the guided tour — the guides are knowledgeable and bring the past to life with their detailed explanations.

Read moreVisité le 15 juillet. Superbe site, stationnement sur place, comportant des aires de repos et pique nique, chaque coté un canal pour bateaux. Le Fort est sur une ile, vous ferez donc un petit tour de bateau. Selon moi, le site s adresse surtout aux adultes et enfants de 5 ans et plus. Aucun jeu ou activité pour les tout petits, marche, promenade sur un superbe site très bien entretenu, pique nique, visite guidée des lieux. Le site a été fermé a partir de 2018 pour des rénovations....pas encore terminées. Vous y verrez les habits militaires d époque expliqués par un guide, les quartiers des soldats et des officiers meublés comme a l époque. Une autre visite guidée vous permet de visiter les batiments, avec des anecdotes et les conditions de vie. Apportez votre nourriture pour pique nique, lors de ma visite rien n était disponible sur place. Belle activité reposante....
