Save this for later!🍁🍂 I did this hike yesterday (September 24th 2023) and the colors were already there and popping!😍🍂 🧥I am also wearing the @avalancheskiwear Versant jacket which is actually a 3 in 1! As the weather was warmer this weekend, I opted for the insulated lining. It was perfect for Mother Nature swinging moods lately. 🩵The Veyrier blue top I’m also wearing is designed to provide maximum thermal efficiency. The fabric helps retain heat and promotes a good moisture management! Have a look at the new Expedition collection from @avalancheskiwear 🍂🥾 ABOUT THE HIKE⬇️ 📍 Parc du Massif du Sud 🚗 A 1h15 drive from Quebec City 🥾 Trail: Mont Chocolat 🍂 8km round trip 🥵 Difficulty Level: Intermediate 👀 Lots of viewpoints (by the river and on the top) 🔝 Elevation gain: 314m 💲$7.83 + tx (you can buy your daily access online) #falldecor #fallcolors #autumnvibes🍁 #autumndecor #autumncolors #hikingadventures #hiker #hikingculture #colorfultrees #fallvibes #fallseason #autumnseason #womenwhohike #quebec #quebecoriginal #quebeccanada #canada

Come hike with me and Bobo’s🥾🍂 When I go hiking, I always like to have a nutritional snack along the way to stay energized. I had the chance to team up and try Bobo’s bars for my last autumnal hike! I really enjoyed the variety of flavours and it was so tasty! If you haven’t heard of @eatbobos before, here’s what you should know: - Non GMO - Gluten-free - Vegan - Simple Ingredients - Satisfying flavors like chocolate chip, peanut butter, and apple pie, etc. Bobo’s is available at Walmart and many others all across Canada! Let me know if you enjoyed as much as me! 📍Parc régional Massif du Sud 🍂 St-Philémon, QC 🥾Mont-Chocolat 🍫 #EatBobos #BobosPartner #ad @eatbobos #hikingadventures #hikinglovers #hikingsnacks #fallhike #fallhikes #hikersofinstagram #healthylifestyle #hikevibes #vegansnacks #quebecregion #hikergirl

First of all, let me say that I would have stayed longer than just one night at this beautiful park.

Helpful staff!

And the location for the camping was perfect. Right beside a stream.

Neighbouring campers were respectful and not too loud at all. You aren’t too close to each other so you still have quite a bit of privacy regardless.

Campsites have an on-location site where you can burn logs (that you can buy at the accueil if needed but I would suggest buying birch or maple and not what they sell although it burns quick and helps the fire start up).

They have porto potties, so no worries, you don’t have to poo in a hole and bury it.

Apparently they have showers (although haven’t seen it in person).

The STARS you can see on a clear night sky is insane and humbling.

Also! One thing also worth mentioning was the fact that there was almost zero to no mosquitoes!

We drove there all the way from Montreal! The drive was long, yes, but the experience just for the day was worth...

We when for a snowshoe hike at the « camp de base » shelter. 7km hike with around 200m of elevation. The elevation is mainly in the last 2 km. Beautiful hoke around the river with a couple of brodge to cross. The shelter was really good! Pot and pans, paper for the stove, wood in quantity and 2 big jugs of deinlable water was waiting for us! Don’t hesitate, go for it. Was a good weekend...
