It’s me and my mom’s first time visiting a vineyard and we loved this place so much! There were several options for take home stuff (rilettes, jelly, mustard, etc.). The wines are good and the views are amazing!!! They have a terrasse with some open fire you can warm up, then they provide you with some blankets! Very thoughtful! The connoisseur explained the wine tasting selection in English when we asked him. My mom remarked that the staff were all so nice and accommodating to our questions. We visited Cassis, Monna et Filles, Vignoble St-Pierre, and this is our favorite!!! We will come back with the whole family next time!

Beautiful winery. Excellent wine and customer service. One of the restaurants’ owner we went to recommended this winery because they have the best wine in the area. Their wine jelly are very unique and pairs well with cheese. They really tried speaking English to us. The Reserve wine was out of this world. People that work there have that positive energy and eager to introduce you to places to go in Quebec city. Go during Summer or Fall and you won’t regret it. A must when you visit Quebec city. Pair your wine with their delicious cheese board with some meats and jelly. I’ll be back soon!

I was visiting Île d'Orléans this fall. It was magnificent place, with fields of berries, crops, old buildings, quite county life, just outside of Quebec city, and of course, a beautiful sight of Montmorency fall across. I managed to stop by the Bacchus winery! Did wine tasting with beautiful fall scenery. Staff members were really kind, and I got black current butter, and wish I bought 5 more of them. Also two bottles of their sweet wine! If I can go visit Quebec again, then def. going back to grab more wines and goodies!

I was visiting this winery all the way from Toronto, and I was so excited to do a wine tasting. From the very beginning, the experience was terrible. Yes, the location is beautiful but there are many wineries in that area. GO TO ANY OTHER ONE. We waited forty minutes for our tasting while everyone else was served. We had to call the staff three times just to get attention.

When one of the wines in our tasting finally arrived, I could not believe my eyes. There was a big fat fly, fighting for its life, floating in the glass. This was not a tiny fruit fly. It was alive and struggling when the server brought it to us. It did not land there under our supervision.

We asked for a replacement. The server returned with a spoon and told us to scoop the fly out ourselves. When we insisted that we wanted a new glass, she asked if we would have done that at home. She implied that it was normal to drink wine with a fly in it. She eventually brought a replacement, but I did not drink it because I suspected she had simply removed the fly rather than giving us a fresh pour.

I had been looking forward to this visit for months. Instead, I was met with terrible service, shocking unprofessionalism, and a complete lack of hygiene. This was one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had. I cannot recommend this winery to anyone.

TO BE NOTED: It was not a small fly. It was a giant one. But, it’s not even about the fly. It’s about how it was handled. I would never give a negative review unless the experience was absolutely terrible. I have worked in customer service, so I know what’s it’s like to be on the other side. I suspect that you don’t like seeing people like me at the restaurant because you don’t...

Nice views with a manager who’s very accommodating. After spending $250 on wine and $120 on snacks yesterday I was, again, subject to aggressive behaviour on the part of staff because…I did not ask for additional bread the right way? This ‘telling off’ was done both privately and in public right in front of the party I had brought to the winery! I’ve been here before - for the great views - and on a previous trip staff did not like how I responded to a question and…on came the attitude. Been to over 50+ wineries in Niagara and this has not come up once…so it must be just bad chemistry here. Please go visit for the great views but be on your absolute Sunday morning best behaviour at all times because if you’re not…you may get an aggressive earful from someone who thinks he or she knows...

Visited as part of a winery guided tour. The site was beautiful and the view itself deserves the stop. The staff super nice. The tasting was limited to three products, while other wineries in the tour had up to eight. We could get to taste other products if we went to their shop, but that wasn't really adversited and required us to leave the group. The steward was efficient, but clearly doing others things in between tastings which left us alone with the impression that they had their paying patrons to look after, whereas all the other wineries had dedicated stewards that were with us the whole time and that talked about the site, their approach and their products. This is sad as Isle de Bacchus ended up selling themselves short and missed a great...
