The Charlevoix Palissades - Mountain Adventure Park — Attraction in Saint-Siméon

Beautiful little lake for a nice dip after a great hike up the rocks with our amazing guide Sam. The campsites look great but we had a package to sleep inside in the dorm rooms. The shower mats were filthy and the washrooms as well.. Don't forget your shower sandal and your hovering techniques when using the facilities. They have a few water toys that you can use to go out for a paddle and a floating dock that you can swim out to. Absolutely lovely! There is zip lining across the lake, nice experience. Short but sweet. There is a common kitchen, it's fairly clean and you have access to two BBQ's, stove, oven, cutlery, pots and pans.. you name it, it's probably there :-) There is a sauna near the lake, did not get the chance to use it and, a hot tub just off the deck. I very much enjoyed my visit but next time will try camping. Some of the staff were not too friendly and they gave me the impression that we were in their way. Can't...

we did the via ferrata (faucon) but got downgraded to another route due to maintenance

it rained lightly and the morning was chilly for an hour, but the exercise warmed us up and we ended up feeling hot

The rain put off other clients and got offered to be credited a sort of gift cart to post pone their activity so ig thats an option

To bring for via ferrata : 1 liter of water per person no jeans closed shoes at least one backpack for your water and phones, but they lend us one :)

our guide was lovely and knew a fair amount about the region

we did via ferrata rappelling (descending the mountain on a climbing rope, i recommend even for a first time) zipline over lake (you could skip that one) suspended bridge (very nice even if you are endured)

I had an amazing time doing the Via Ferrata at this location. The views were incredible and the whole experience was unforgettable. Florence, our guide, was absolutely wonderful. So kind, encouraging, and made me feel confident and safe throughout the entire course. She made the experience even more special.

When I arrived, I was told that as a minor I couldn’t go alone, even though the website allowed me to book a solo under 18 ticket. I had to buy another ticket for my mom and switch to an easier course, since the Falcon course I originally booked was already full. Hopefully this can be fixed on the website so others don’t run into the same issue.

Everything else was so great that this issue didn’t take away from the experience. I’m looking forward to coming back in the future and doing the...
