I give this place 5 Stars based on what it is offering - a local smaller hill that has a family feel to the place. Runs are groomed well, lots of diverse runs for all types of skiing, great beginner runs and school. Cafeteria is nothing to speak about but for a typical small ski hill like this and other, Valley Blue, Belle Neige et. Al., they all have average food. Their strength seem like simple things like soups, various beverages, snacks, even good fries. Better to bring your own food. They provide lockers for storage and have a small but nice ski accessory store. Parking is pretty good and staff were all helpful and bilingual, which makes a difference. Though this place is not trying to be a world class resort , it kind of is in the sense of a warm safe atmosphere. You can see lots of families as well a youngster here and they also have various specialized programs for racing etc. I am a fan of chanticlair. Next year I’ll get a seasons pass for me and my daughter.

Very small hill but fun just to get some light snowboarding or skiing in. Keep an eye out on their events, they often have good deals like Friday women specials for 20$ lift tickets and some Saturdays where rental is only 13$ and the lift ticket is also 13$. I wouldn't pay full price for this hill personally, we only went because we wanted something close by to the cottage and cheap and through Costco tickets and women Friday specials, it was very worth it. Only 1 of the 3 chairlifts was running at the time.

Mediocre experience in December 2022. Magic carpet was closed. Cafeteria was closed and needed to order in chaos at the bistro, where they had run out of fries and salad. Needless to say the wait was unreasonable. Few runs for beginners. The more advanced runs are fun.

I learned to ski at this place, for 4 years straight we would buy the season pass (for night) and get there every saturdays at 3PM. I love every slope here but the most fun thing are the glades, especially 39. It's a very good challenge that you don't get on most other ski stations near. The chairlift is slow but there's very few waiting, evey on weekends. I also love the new glade they did last year. Snow conditions are usually very icy, especially on steep trails like 46, 48 and 49 but it's not that much of a big deal. Trail 47 looks like a good challenge but it's rarely open. One thing that I don't like though is the very left part of the mountain (Trails 40,41,42,55) where there's a big flat to take in order to get to the closest lift. So try to avoid these trails if you don't want to do cross-country skiing. Other than that I love this mountain, it's probably my favourite in the area of...
