St. Timothy Beach — Attraction in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield

It’s a hidden gem. This place was a great recommendation.

Pros: A) It’s Quite clean. B) The washrooms are pretty taken care off. C) You can hike and walk around the beach and park. D) They have lifeguards. E) They have Changing rooms and bathrooms. F) They have a canteen and food options G) They have activities and things you can rent for exploring.

Cons: A) It’s free for residents of the area and island. Need to buy tickets online for non residents. B) It’s a long walk from the parking lot. C) Not enough shaded area and tables for people. D) The beach should be patrolled or monitored more because there may be safety issues or concerns for every beach. E) They need to be bilingual at the beach and some are some are not.

Other than that. We will be coming back again it’s a good beach and not far from us.

The water is not too cold and lifeguards we’re doing there job and duty.

The beach is very long and not wide. It is allowed up to a depth of 160 cm. He watches the lifeguard carefully, that's good. the beach is clean. toilets and dressing cabs are clean. Beach is very tiny for 12$ as a "non-resident" and there are very strict rules. For example, there is a designated smoking area and you can smoke cigarettes and vape but no cannabis, despite it being legal. The swimming area is also very small.
