Gosh, if I could stay on this farm forever... I visited Sacred Mountain Lavender Farm briefly as part of the Salt Spring Island Hop On Hop Off Tour. Although we went a little early in the season and the peak season is July-August, it was still very scenic and was a real eye catching place. Such a beauty. Who knew there could be varieties to lavender. The fields of vibrant purple lavender immediately catch your eye, and the refreshing aroma envelops you the moment you arrive. The farm was beautiful and impeccably clean, with vibrant lavender fields. It’s an ideal spot for a peaceful outing, and there are even small lavender products available to bring a bit of the experience home. The gift shop has such a wide range of delightful lavender products! The products are all very high quality! Highly recommend for a unique, relaxing day surrounded by nature’s beauty! Simply a gem of Salt Spring Island. I’ll have to make another trip out when the lavender is in...

The field itself isn’t that big but they’re still beautiful. Be careful of all the bees though! They’ll leave you alone if you leave them alone :)
The lady working in the shop when we visited was lovely. She spoke to us about the farm, recommended some products and we had a little conversation about my baby boy and her children. I didn’t end up purchasing anything products in the shop although everything smelled soo nice. We opted for the lavender ice cream (so good!) and the lavender london fog popsicle (also really good!) the ice cream had a stronger flavour so maybe eat the popsicle before the ice cream if you end up...
Read moreEasily my favourite place on the island! I first experienced Sacred Mountain over a decade ago, have been multiple times and it just continues to grow more magical each time I stop in! The grounds are beautiful and worth exploring before coming into the gift shop to be greeted by a friendly face, phenomenal aroma and a large variety of handmade products that make fantastic gifts! It doesn't matter who is working because they are always friendly and so knowledgeable; today I learned that 50 pounds of (French? I could be wrong) lavender only creates 250ml of essential oil, mind blown! An island treasure, don't forget to stop in...
