The cliffs are cool and the view is amazing.
The drive to get there is terrible. Like all of the Saskatchewan side of Cypress Hills Provincial Park, it is basically third world (or worse) roads. Thier 'gravel' is not gravel but stones ranging from marble sized to tennis ball szed (yes, we were driving on large stones). Even the paved highway to the park is scary with no guard rails. Your car will hate you after you take the two tire nightmare to the cliff.

   Read moreThe cliffs are absolutely stunning and definitely worth the drive. You’ll probably want a vehicle with 4x4 capabilities as the roads weren’t great. DO NOT trust google’s directions!!!! Especially if you’re coming from the Cypress Hills Centre Block in Saskatchewan. It took us down terrible roads that went through fenced off private property. Avoid Meier’s Road at all costs.    Read moreBeautiful view worth the detour, especially if visiting Fort Walsh. The roads are not great so be careful. We made it in a minivan but there hadn't been rain for weeks so that helped. If coming from Cypress Hills/Maple Creek, take the 271. The roads only become rough and gravelly at the marked turn off on your way to Fort Walsh (turn off towards AB/Elkwater).
