The waterfront here has changed so much from what it was back when I was young, and the changes are only for the better.
Lovely sandy beach with nearby playground for kids to enjoy. The proximity of the beach to the playground makes it easy for parents to keep an eye on kids in either place.
Wheelchair access mat is located on the beach allowing for those in a wheelchair to get in the water with less assistance required (I assume but haven't tried it as I am not in a wheelchair). Whenever I have been there, the mat seems well maintained and free of sand to obstruct it.

Beautiful place to stop, picnic, swim, lots of activities for the kids at the playground, clean washrooms / change rooms with private showers as well!!! 🚿 Decent shallow beach (some plants/seaweed) as well as a pier you can jump off at several points with large step ladders to get back up. Anchored floating platforms to swim to/jump off. Pier also has a gazebo and picnic tables at the end. Picturesque 🏞️

Loved it!! Great for rest stop for travellers or a family day at the lake! Saved in My Favorites! ...

There is a playground with slides & swings for the kids. There is a marina on the right side of the dock. On the left side there is a sandy beach. You can jump and dive in the water from the dock. They have a small wooden floating platform for dive or jump just 50 m in the lake. Washrooms are not far away from the picnic area and they have showers too.
