It's a decent park that my family visits often. Apparently it once was being developed as something but the project was abondoned.
It's hard to explain but it has a huge grassy area with many spread out picnic tables and garbage cans are around to collect your garbage. It is a great place to go to for a family bbq at the park. We often roll in our day camping equipment and bbq and spend an afternoon.

Read moreAlmost completely abandoned by the Provincial Government. The inner roadway is are 95% gravel. The west side road by the creek is cordoned off. The perch to view the river and Rundle Park has been removed. Only one standing building left and unopen to the public. No maintance, no policing, absolutely no will or attempt at a Science park. The park contains several abandoned interpretive buildings which unfortunately are now shuttered. Remnants of the park's history as a public science center include triangular obelisks, a boardwalk and some interpretive plaques.
Another discovery in the glorious city which I am fortunate enough to call home. Definitely a repeat visit...
