Discovered this lake on our drive towards Kelowna and had to stop by to admire it. There weren't many people so it was quite peaceful and calming, perfect for reflecting about life 😂

Great Lake with lots of space and great views!! Enjoy spending part of the summer here. Lots of housing options. Quick drive to towns. Clean water and a Marina for gas.

Mara is a small lake, so it's always bathtub warm in August. Not too many motor boats, kayaking is good. Pretty smokey this year though.

A nice stop on the way to Shuswap or the Okanagan. Some come to find geodes in this lake. Clean clear water, lots of fish, secluded spots the locals know where you can camp for free......
