Two Forest Conservation Area, near Iroquois, is on a major migratory route for birds. We heard some Baltimore Orioles and Scarlet Tanagers. But, this time of year, there is too much mud and too many mosquitoes for a long walk. A September visit by would be ideal.

Lovely and quiet. Making a loop trail you will see the numbered marks wich helps to know what part of the path is still ahead, that was helpful for our little one. No questions like "are we there yet?" :)

Terrible experience, trails were so overgrown. I tripped and fell over logs, trees down. Parsnip everywhere. Grass over my head. Wouldn’t go again that’s for sure. If I could rate zero I would.

Two Creeks Forest Conservation Area offers a serene escape for nature lovers of all ages east of Iroquois Ontario. The easy 4.5km loop trail winds through a diverse landscape, showcasing coastal ecosystems, grasslands, and beautiful lowland forests. Interpretive signs educate visitors on the area's unique ecology, making it a perfect spot for a family outing or a solo hike. While some reviews mention occasional mud after rain and overgrown sections, the trail itself is well-marked and offers a peaceful escape. Keep in mind there are no restrooms besides outhouses, so plan accordingly. Overall, Two Creeks Forest is a charming conservation area perfect for a refreshing escape into nature. Just be sure to pack bug spray and wear proper footwear! We hiked it on the weekend June 16th mosquitoes were very intense. We have gone other times when the bugs have...

Both during the spring and yesterday my friend and I got lost at the wetlands. There are no trail markings. We walked yesterday on a well trodden path for at least a half hour which ended abruptly in dead fall and high grass. Therefore, we turned back and returned the way we came we were well past marker 7. Persons we met at the parking lot said they too had to turn around and the last time they were there had to have people come for them. Can't you just make a trail through the grass-wetlands so people...

Maybe it's just me but I never feel comfortable in this forest, rarely see any birds or small animals. As another has said, not enough people traffic. The trails are well marked, there's signage and information about the types of ecosystems within the conservation area. Dogs are permitted, there's always parking available but still, I never feel comfortable hiking the trails myself and I have solo hiked bigger forests and...
