Port Blake Day Park — Attraction in South Huron

This place was our go to every year. Our families and relatives which were about ten car went to Port Blake, unfortunately the behaviour of this park attendant was unacceptable. She is the older lady with heavier built was swearing at my mom and uncle (shutup and stupid). I brought this matter to the attention of the younger who was at the gate and she said she will call the cops to solve this matter and I was waiting for couple hours to get it resolved but I believe she never called, which I just let it go since there were too many of our relatives and families and I didn't want to ruin their day. Just a reminder that if you are an immigrant or visible minority don't go there, especially if you have some language problems since this lady will treat you as 2nd class citizen. We've been coming here for well over 5 years now, and love this area more than the Grand Bend main strip. The price is $14/car load, I can't remember how much it is per person, but very affordable for the area. It can get extremely busy on hot days or weekends, so try and arrive early to get a picnic table or wooded area for some shade. We always BBQ, and bring our own propane BBQ, but the park also has their own stand-up Charcoal BBQ's for public use if needed. Much better place to visit than the main beach (north & south beach) of Grand Bend. We went to north beach, but could not find a place to park. And someone was kind enough to tell us if we parked along the way there, we’ll get a ticket for $125. Then, we turned around and came to Port Blake few minutes away. $10 for all day parking, no hassle. Parked on the grass and 2 min walk to the beach. No lifeguard.
