Another beautiful but mismanaged Parks of the St Lawrence public access recreation destination. Sadly, the concept of multiple use seems lost on the government appointed management team. This past weekend, I was startled by the loud sounds of generator powered amplified call to prayer at the ad hoc Mosque erected in the east playing field- resplendent with waving Palestinian flags? I wonder how the clearly Jewish families I filmed packing up and leaving felt? I also filmed many other non-Muslims and they were clearly not impressed with a public rest and relaxation destination being taken over by one group at the expense of all others. The trailer image was taken after I reported this trailer abandoned for 6 months at the boat ramp...the United States is 1kilometer away in the background and this is a known human...

Covid review: Website with no updated infos 1 he wait on phone to speak to customer service. Tells me that there is limited number of people allowed on the beach and would need to arrive at 9:30 to have a chance to get in at 10. We arrive before 9:30 and we’re told they were at capacity as of our vehicle! Apparently people come at 8 to get a spot. The option is to try our luck at a nearby beach. We manage to find a space near the lake just to picnic but we’re asked to pay for a day pass. This is to picnic on a dirty picnic area with NO garbage bins, NO bathrooms, NO picnic...

Nice little beach with a huge picnic area and lot of parking for its size. Water is clean and clear but unfortunately rocky close to shore. It's shallow for kids in the beginning and gets deep after a few meters. Nice views and washroom facilities available on site. BBQ allowed on site as well and the area is well maintained and clean. Would highly recommend...

Woodlands Beach has a small beach and a large green area with picnic tables. It also has a barbecue, playground, swings and a volleyball net for family fun. The parking lot is pretty large and there is several washrooms with flushable toilets, though they are a little bit dirty sometimes. Another thing to know is that there are a lot of small bugs in the area.

A hidden gem of a beach -- great views and clear, clean waters. It's a bit on the shallow side but you can walk the 30 meters to go for a good swim. Beautiful surrounding views. Best to go on weekends when it's less crowded. Look out for delicious crawfish :-)
