Located just south of Squamish, the beautiful 5 acre lake right is part of Murrin Provincial Park, right next to the busy Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99). The beach and picnic area is perfect for family-one-day vocation. After hiking in the park trail, some people love to swim in this scenic lake. I normally stand in a canoe to enjoy the lake or lie in a float mat to enjoy the feeling of floating. There are many public parking space and the public washrooms are available August is the best time to enjoy the clear and cool lake, really exotic

Superb place near to Shanon provincial park in Squamish which contains lake, benches, quiet atmosphere, forest, on main road, etc. Perfect spot for break of snacks & peaceful weather before whistler. No any entry fee charges. πŸ˜‚ Our group spent almost an hour with some snack break & adorable clicks. Such a lovely sightseeing which can’t ignored while passing from this road. Highly recommended πŸ‘

Me and my son had a lovely time. We came to swim roughly at 4 pm on Friday. Not to many folks here but it was Canada Day weekend. Was quiet and there are picnic tables for sitting and eating. Water is muddy a little.

Beautiful, large, fairly flat, wide trail all around the lake. The lake is situated right by the highway so can be noisy. Great location for stretching your legs, having a pit stop, stopping for a picnic with many picnic tables along the lakeshore and by the parking. All this area is wheelchair/mobile aid accessible. Dogs are not allowed on the beach/water. However we did take our pup up to the viewpoint with no trouble. Some folks were fishing for trout...
