Browning Lake — Attraction in Squamish

Located just south of Squamish, the beautiful 5 acre lake right is part of Murrin Provincial Park, right next to the busy Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99). The beach and picnic area is perfect for family-one-day vocation. After hiking in the park trail, some people love to swim in this scenic lake. Beautiful, large, fairly flat, wide trail all around the lake. The lake is situated right by the highway so can be noisy. Great location for stretching your legs, having a pit stop, stopping for a picnic with many picnic tables along the lakeshore and by the parking. All this area is wheelchair/mobile aid accessible. Superb place near to Shanon provincial park in Squamish which contains lake, benches, quiet atmosphere, forest, on main road, etc. Perfect spot for break of snacks & peaceful weather before whistler.
