The perfect afternoon refuge spot. Busy in the summer and at the time around the Regatta Day (first Wednesday of August). The trail around the lake is beautiful and offers some nice views. There's a skate and a bike park, a space for pets - plenty of stuff to do for everyone. Walk along the trail right to the end to reach The Wharf and the old Quidi Vidi village, where the lake opens up into the ocean through the hills - a beautiful sight. Here's where you'll also find the famed Quidi Vidi Brewery.

Great spot, the green building is a restaurant and brewery. They have live music and a patio overlooking the bay. There is also have a large food truck area with table's and a beer garden. This is a very popular place for wedding's too. There is plenty of parking and you can access the walk way around the lake

Such a serene place! Take a walk, have a picnic, feed the ducks, watch groups practice rowing for Regatta day, go for a hike around the lake, visit the quidi vidi village, go to the outdoor food market for fish and chips and drinks at the quidi vidi brewery... lots to do.

My family went for a hike at Quidi Vidi lake on July 1st, 2022 ( Canada Day) We went to the Quidi Vidi lake trail which is close to the dam. The trail is clean, looks refreshing to my eyes. Very green, peaceful, beautiful and gorgeous place.

Nice and clean lake. Mostly well maintained. Good walking path around the lake. Takes about an hour for walking full loop. There is children’s playground and dog park as well. Multiple places to sit and rest or even have a little picnic.

Another great place for a walk in St John's; even in early Spring!
