Love places like this... Not only are waterfalls a fan favorite of mine but I like places that also involve some extra history and this place for sure checks off both. We enjoyed our stop here even though it was moving into the evening by the time we got there so the inside of all these places were closed. It was still cool and certainly worth the stop. If we had more time I'm sure we could have spent all day here. Check it out for sure if you are in the area! If you would like to go inside just make sure to check the open hours...

Although parking is an interesting experience this site is well worth the inconvenience. The history is remarkable considering the site consists of only a few buildings. But the details that are presented on the dozens of plaques and the extremely dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers will provide you with a memorable experience. It would indeed be a shame if the levels of government can't get there act together to provide more water to the site. Oh and the hiking trails are well worth...

Great piece of history about the Mill and its operation. This is run through the volunteers and donations so be sure to have some cash on hand to help them keep this bit of history alive. We met a lovely man named Terry who gave us a tour of the mill ( you got to check out the turbine) and you can get a great look at the falls from a window in the lower level. You can also jump on the Laura Secord Legacy trail a few feet away or the Bruce trail. A great spot for a weekend day trip in...
