Great history learned here on my vacation. A must see if you enjoy Canadian history and want to learn about Newfoundland. Beautifully preserved and the staff are well versed. Easily done in 2 hours if you like to read everything.

Quel édifice magnifique! Le bâtiment a abrité le gouvernement colonial puis provincial de Terre-Neuve et la Chambre d'assemblée du 28 janvier 1850 au 28 juillet 1959. Il est chaleureux avec des boiseries, des plafonds et des escaliers majestueux. Aucun rapport avec l'édifice froid qui abrite l'assemblée nationale depuis. L'entrée est de 4$ pour les 60 ans et plus et il y a un stationnement gratuit sur place. Ça vaut vraiment la peine.
