The perfect afternoon refuge spot. Busy in the summer and at the time around the Regatta Day (first Wednesday of August). The trail around the lake is beautiful and offers some nice views. There's a skate and a bike park, a space for pets - plenty of stuff to do for everyone. Walk along the trail right to the end to reach The Wharf and the old Quidi Vidi village, where the lake opens up into the ocean through the hills - a beautiful sight. Here's where you'll also find the famed Quidi Vidi Brewery.

Great spot, the green building is a restaurant and brewery. They have live music and a patio overlooking the bay. There is also have a large food truck area with table's and a beer garden. This is a very popular place for wedding's too. There is plenty of parking and you can access the walk way around the lake

Such a serene place! Take a walk, have a picnic, feed the ducks, watch groups practice rowing for Regatta day, go for a hike around the lake, visit the quidi vidi village, go to the outdoor food market for fish and chips and drinks at the quidi vidi brewery... lots to do.

Dont see what others see. Your eating from a food truck that buys food from the supermarket but yet its the best food to some and very expensive from the size and the quality. My family is from here and i can say its nice but its now to commercial and not a fishing village. If the city keeps filling in for more space theres going to be no more water and the beauty is going to be...
