Today was the worst I have ever seen Sobeys parking lot in front of the store ever!!!There was students walking among the lineups of cars in both directions coming from the school that is behind the large parking lot of sobeys.People were stopping to pick up students in front of the store blocking shoppers frm going to a parking spot or even able to drive down to a lane. This is a store not a school parking lot!!!Something needs to be done about the students and parents using this shopping store as their own personal space to wait for and pick up students who have no regard for shoppers being seniors or not! This is a ongoing matter to not just a 1 day thing it's 5 days a week.Either Sobeys should contact schools to ask that the parents and students use the school parking lot and not hold up and impede shoppers from being able to drive and park and shop without fear of being struck by a car or impeding the walk in front of the store!!!!I am considering going elsewhere and I live in this are and have been shopping here since its opening!!!!My neighbors are in agreement with this as they to have been impeded from driving to a park spot or walk to the store front without being inundated with school traffic!!!We are shoppers we should not have to arrange our shopping to coincide with...

I'm happy.
They also did their best when rowdy kids from near by school were harassing customers, stealing and creating parking lot drama.
I was very happy by their efforts to maintain a safe and equitable work environment and public space. They went above and beyond to protect the seniors who had been faced with harassment and apparently neighbouring school officials were working with the store and the police to.... Help "manage the situation".
The staff at this Sobeys went above and beyond during the pandemic and for the upsurge of disturbance the youths were attempting.
The staff have clean work spaces, the buggy huts are often cleared. In the winter the lot is always well maintained and it can get a wee bit busy with traffic as students use the lot to park, or parents use it to pick up their kids: I try to avoid going there anytime around 12 or 3.
The staff had encountered alot of abuse and problems and still dedicated and brave enough to return and keep stocked shelves, clean and safe spaces for the...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed in the manager at this establishment. For years the students of holy heart have been the main customers and contributors to this store. Just from my circle alone that’s over $1000 from just 3 people a week. Yesterday our school was on fire and it was freezing outside a few students went inside the sobeyes for something warm and I went in to get medicine and we were kicked out by the managers. No students from what I saw were causing any disruptions. Mostly just walking around. I believe that if you don’t want any high schoolers in your store don’t build it 2 feet from the high school. We were also asked “don’t you have anywhere to go?” No actually. Most of our phones were still in the classes and parents hadn’t been called about the fire. We also weren’t allowed in the busses so genuinely there was no where else to go. This store has no issue with students going in at lunch and benefitting them but when we’re not profiting them instead of using it as an opportunity to help the students back (quite literally just letting them in) they have an issue? Do...
