T.J. Dolan Natural Area — Attraction in Stratford

The trails are not intimidating at all, and for the most part, the paths are pretty well covered with mulch so you don't have to worry about mud or puddles. Always a great walk with my dogs along the river, no way as busy as the main stretch in town. It is also close to the water treatment plant so at times it will obviously smell...but you can go further away to avoid it. It also gets pretty mucky after it rains...but it just rained.
