In the summer months you will often come across complementary live music on Saturday, where they invite you to bring a picnic and purchase a bottle of wine to live an afternoon of your best Okangan life.

The owner and wine maker, Tyson Felt, can often be found running around the property or on the tasting bar as your host. And.... they have the most adorable winery dog named Rogue.

I brought a bottle of wine from heavens gate winery. I paid over twenty dollars on a bottle of Marlot. Was excited to have it with dinner that night with my spouse. The problem is when I poured the wine it had some kind of sludge in it. So much sludge that the wine was ruined. I called the owner the next day and told him of our problem. He told me that it is some kind of crystal in it and its all right to drink it. GROSS REALLY . I have been drinking wine now for over twenty years and never had that in my bottles ever. The really bad thing is he never tried to fix the problem. He could have given us a different wine in replacement but he never tried to fix it at all. Been several times to Heaven's Gate Estate Winery. Tastings are $10.00/person for five pours, refunded with bottle purchase. The pourers are sweet and easy to converse with.
