Thornhaven Estates Winery — Attraction in Summerland

We had a great experience at this winery. We dropped in without a reservation and they were able to do a tasting for us. The woman who provided the wines for us to taste was very friendly and knowledgeable. She may have been one of the owners.

It was getting close to closing time so we asked if we had time to order a glass of wine to enjoy on the patio. She said yes and that we could actually stay for as long as we liked, but asked that we leave our wine glasses by the door and shut the gate on our way out.

Been a few times to Thornhaven Estates Winery. Tastings are $5.00/person, non-refundable for 7 pours. Our pourer was engaging and cracking dad jokes. Bottles are $23.00 to $35.00 and prices include all taxes.

We visted Thornhaven last sat for a well deserved girls weekend away! I unfortunately left my cell phone there and continued to Penticton. When I realized my phone was missing I called Thornhaven and they had found my phone! The amazing kind hearted lady that had not only found my phone but was celebrating her bday that night in Penticton and offered to drop my phone off at my hotel! I can't thank her enough and it shows that Thornhaven not only has great wine but great employees....
