We did Lac Spruce and Round Top which was a beautiful hike with no ice and lots of snow. I purchased our passes and rented crampons for my boyfriend at 7am that morning before driving 2 hours to Sutton from Montreal. When we got to Sutton, they told us that they had just rented out the last pair of crampons and couldn't give us the ones I rented way earlier. A refund was issued promptly but my boyfriend had to do the trail without crampons which was significantly harder. They should set aside the crampons rented online as it is not fair for those who planned in advance. It was very disappointing to say the least. Otherwise the hike is very fun and scenic, but you NEED crampons. Try to bring your own instead of renting from them as you may be out of luck...

Really nice place for hiking with a rewarding view on the top! We did the Round Top trail and it was beautiful! Peaceful walk in the forest and the view on top is breathtaking. On beautiful days you can see all the mountains across the border! The hike itself isn’t difficult, but definitely bring good hiking gear and especially good hiking shoes since it tends to get muddy and slippery at multiple places.

Very beautiful view. It was quite a long hike but worth it. Got lost in the " Round top " but it was ok. Not too much people here. There were a lot of lookouts and the staffs there are so nice and funny. The parking is free but had to buy entrance tickets in advance. They gave us the entrance tickets which we kept during the hike. Someone might check the tickets. The hike was long but it was worth it.

Here’s a corrected version of your review:

I would give the attention at this park 0 stars if possible. We went to the information office and asked for a map of the trails, but they didn’t have any. The staff member explained how to get to the “easy” trail since we had kids and a stroller. I specifically asked if the trail was doable with a stroller, and she assured me it was easy.

However, that trail was not suitable for a stroller at all! It was full of roots, rocks, and required climbing, making it unsafe for the kids. To get back to the car, we had to climb what felt like a wall.

Please keep this in mind if you plan to visit this park. I wish the person at the front desk had advised us correctly to avoid this situation. A total lack of knowledge from the people working in the front desk!! They just wanted to pass to...

We visited the hiking trails in early summer. The main lookout (Round Top summit) was closed but they still charged the same entrance fee. Another very small lookout was open. But the view was horrendously disappointing. And they closed the bathrooms shortly after 5 PM! I will not recommend anyone from the Montreal region to drive there. It is absolutely not worth the 4hr aller-retour drive and the 4hr hike to see a 1 star view. There are much nicer trails with views closer...
