Escape Challenge North — Attraction in Tay

Our group of 8 just completed The Follower. We've played dozens of escape rooms as a group, but this was by FAR one of the most interesting we've done together. We played during the day at the 4 PM time slot, but if you have the opportunity to play in the dark...DO IT. Legitimately terrifying, the ambiance is second to none. Our host was friendly and helpful, and did a great job of explaining the rules and setup. Truly a unique experience, I can't wait to see how it evolves over the years! Stellar escape room!

EDIT: Our group returned with an additional 2 people to complete The Betrayal & The Butcher...incredible experience! We had a ton of fun, and the game has a few "twists" to keep things interesting. Our group only had two criticisms, that I'd like to frame as constructive criticism - the owner has something VERY cool going on here, and it will only get better as it's refined! One: the clues could be a bit "obtuse" at times. Some clear direction would help streamline the game and prevent players from getting frustrated. Two: the play location was a tight fit for our group of 10, with a few people often having to stand idly by as there wasn't much light or space for everyone to actively participate. Tighter capacity limits might help that.

All in all, Escape Challenge North is a fantastic time with some of the best production values and ideas around. I've been consistently impressed, and each game is very memorable - things will only get better as the games are refined, and I can't wait to see...

Went here on Halloween weekend with a large group to do The Follower event and it was a really great time. We did the daytime event (2:30pm) and they made it exciting/suspenseful even in broad daylight. I imagine the nighttime event would be quite spooky. The host/guide does a good job of guiding the group without spoiling the puzzles if you get stuck on something. Do not ignore the instructions for footwear! You really want to wear shoes/boots that have good grip and are suitable for cooler, outdoor (potentially wet) weather....

Just experienced their escape challenge “The Follower” and we had so much fun. If you’re looking for something Halloween inspired to do with a group of friends, this is it. If there’s a spot available- book it now! This is well thought out and organized and equally as creepy. A hidden gem I highly recommend checking out. Thank you SO MUCH for such a fun night!!! I cannot wait to book again...
