Historic Center of the king mine KB3 — Attraction in Thetford Mines

Highly recommend visiting the place! Everyone was really nice. When we went, there was a volunteer who was really helpful and kind. He guided us throughout the museum and told us his stories when he used to work as a miner. The top was scary for me since it was so high up, I can’t imagine how much scarier it was before when it was only the steel bars back in the days. La nouvelle exposition au Centre historique de la mine King | KB3 est une simulation réussie d'une galerie de mine souterraine. On y vit une expérience inédite en découvrant l’univers fascinant du travail sous terre.

Tout d'abord, comprenez bien que l'exposition se trouve VRAIMENT sous terre. C'est juste que, pour une question évidente de sécurité et de logistique, il était beaucoup plus avantageux d'en créer une nouvelle que de rendre accessible une ancienne cavité minière.
