Tide Head Beach — Attraction in Tide Head

From Campbelltown, to Atholvillle, No real signage on 134N for beach, so once in Tide Head, if you cross tracks and start going down a hill, start to look, there is a right turn under the train tracks and you are there! Port a potty and kids playground are there. Beautiful view of river and mountains. Drive car to rocky beach, park and enjoy slow moving, wide part of the Restigoush. This is a nice little beach to stop at and swim in or even just walk along the shoreline they have a park that's also there for kids to play at they have two outside portable washrooms but they haven't been cleaned or service in a while is also a nice little creek flowing by to relax and dip your feet in. This is a great little beach. It has a kids play area, information on the Restigouche river, some garbage cans and a port-a-potty. The views here are simply amazing, especially at sunset. You can watch as the sun disappears over the mountains. Since this is really the last beach before the bay, it's a popular spot for people who are floating down the river to hop out. Great place...
