Hersey Lake Conservation Area in Timmins is a beautiful and relaxing natural retreat just minutes from town. The trails are well-marked and great for hiking, biking, or snowshoeing in winter. The lake itself is calm and perfect for a picnic or quiet swim on a warm day. There are sandy areas, picnic tables, and plenty of shade from tall pines. Parking is free and convenient, and the area feels safe and well cared for. It’s one of the best spots in Timmins to enjoy...

Hersey Lake Conservation Area in South Porcupine is a peaceful natural retreat with a calm lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space. It’s perfect for a quiet stroll, birdwatching, or fishing by the water. The trails are easy to moderate, and the area is well-maintained, though there are no playgrounds or picnic facilities. Parking is available on-site, but washrooms are limited. It’s a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy nature away...

Excellent place to bike, hike, snowshoe or run. There are a number of technical singletrack trails off the main doubletrack system that offer up a great experience for all skill levels. Singletrack ranges from easy green to harder black diamond. The mountain bike trail network is now well signed and the majority is old school XC style. Trails are also groomed in the winter for fatbiking and snowshoeing. Check out Trailforks for the...

Lots of well-kept trails of different levels, some wide and flat, others a little narrower and steeper. Some really great spots with benches to sit along the way or beside one of the lakes. My husband and I love to see the chickadees and woodpeckers here. ☺️ Swimming can be busy on the weekends in summer, but the water is great and very clean!

Great park and beach area. Water is clearrrr, walking path somewhat around the lake very awesome πŸ‘Œ Beach is great. Lots of parking. Picnic tables, parking, biking trails from what I can see. And outhouses, not bathrooms. But it is a fantastic day at the beach ⛱️ 😎 πŸ˜€ Have fun in the sun. Taking a star for the lack of bathrooms.
