So supposedly there are rumors that indicate this light house is home to a ghostly presence. The only thing my daughter and witnessed is a mosquito bite she got while walking down the path to get to this landmark. All in all this monument is really nice. It's a 15min walk west from Center Island beach. Lots of people were walking, biking, jogging and we even saw a small group of children who were on a day camp excursion. Beautiful trees which provided lots of shade to protect you from the sun but the weather was perfect that day with a nice cool breeze and it was not too hot or humid.
