Annually craftmen would gather here for displaying local craftmenship. You acnnot access the new facility builded which is the prominent looking builing along with a stable and crafments display area. Look for the pictorial descriptions of each building for more details. You wonld not be able to access any of the building due to the pandemic. You can walk through the trails along the lake side. Do not stand on the rocks along the shore. There is only 1 bench facing the lack and back to the new facility. Instagram tag to the location shows a place perfect for wedding or couple photoshoot, where the landscape and the builing in the background looked stunning for the occasion.

I would recommend visiting this park as it is best for a peaceful mind with only 2-4 people walikng trough the trail in 2 hrs...

It has been some time now since the last time I was at John R Park Homestead. This time I was on a homeschool trip with my daughter-in-law and her two girls. They had never been and were quite interested in the history of the homestead, it's close proximity to Lake Erie and to get a glimpse of how people lived many years ago. The Homestead is well maintained. Kat, the tour guide at the center was knowledgeable, helpful and entertaining to the children. This day along with the tour since it was in the fall, the children learned how to make apple cider and peel and dry apples in front of the fireplace. The weather was great and it was a fun morning to be there with the group. I highly recommend you visit them during the upcoming Christmas...

My family and I had such a lovely time. Not only are the grounds well maintained but the artifacts are treated respectfully and with great care. The tour guide, a young lady named Catherine was engaging, kind, and knowledgeable. She gave a great tour and was passionate about the material and history! The land was beautiful, and the garden fruitful and green. The lookout over the horizon is breathtaking, the crashing waves and the sound of birds singing can truly take your mind to somewhere more peaceful. A fun and educational adventure if you’re keen on history....
