Salty Bay Cabins — Attraction in Traytown

We held a family reunion at Salty Bay cabins, there were 50 of us attending with every cabin rented. The cabins were perfect! Clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. We had many kids at the event and the pool and playground kept them entertained for hours. A beautiful fire pit for gathering at night and even a gazebo if it started to rain! Krista, the woman who ran the property provided the best service we could ask for. Anything we needed, she was there with a smile on her face. The area was beautiful, with amazing beaches in East Port just a short drive away and also any amenity near by. We even found a spot with an all you can eat Jiggs dinner buffet!! Definitely recommend Salty Bay cabins for events, a trip with kids or if you’re looking for a lovely place to stay while exploring Terra Nova park and the beautiful East Port area. In July 2023, we stayed in Yurt #3 at the Salty Bay Cabins. The yurt was amazing!

Each yurt has a patio with BBQ and fire pit and a private bathroom with stand-up shower located just a short walk away. Inside the yurt, there was a pull-out couch, bed, table, fridge, and kitchen cart with coffee maker. The cupboards were stocked with lots of supplies.

The four yurts are nestled in the trees and overlook the cabins, the rest of the Salty Bay Cabins property (pool and playground), and views of the water beyond. The yurts are located just a short walk up a gravel trail. You have to park your car in a designated parking spot at the bottom of this trail.

I was very pleasantly surprised with my stay here. The cabin was small but more than big enough for myself and my two small children. Each cabin has a small bbq and a picnic table as well as a coffee maker, toaster and microwave plus all the pots, pans, plates, utensils and towels you need. There is wifi and cable as well. There is a small playground out back but a beautiful and new swimming pool. We enjoyed our stay. The price was fairly reasonable too. It is not far from beaches and the park. I highly...
