Got there and bought 3 full day passes after Purchasing was told the main pool was closed for the day. Only slide and kids water park was open. My kids 12 and 15 that park no good for them. So off to the pumper boats where there was 4 boats there not working and this is also were we found out that the full day pas was only available to the pool witch was Closed and the water slide. U only get 7 rides for the full day between Bumper bolts , Go carts and 3-D theatre so u really only get to do these 3 things twice and that it for the day. Got the go carts some on them was broke down and Haff that was being used wasn’t running right so made that not fun at all trying to race each other but some was slower then others and back fireing. Go over to the mini golf what a joke that was. We played a few holes and jest give up on it. The carpet was Curled up everywere stoping the ball. Some Bricks for Retaining walls was missing and some Sunk in the ground. Could be a really nice spot with a lot of Maintenance everywhere. There wasn’t a lot of people there today and there was no were to sit. Everything was took up out side. We use our 7 things we could do and kids went down the big slide a few times and we had a bit to eat in a empty Mary Brown on site. Still took us 4 and haff hours to do that little bit. The pass it 10 am to 7pm. We got there 11:30 and left 4. Good job we got there late or we would have ran out of stuff to do way earlier. And this Cost 180 for the 3 of us wow. Not including the hours and haff drive to get there and a 37 dollar meal. The restaurant had no ketchup. 2 small !!! Chicken fingers with fries. Small Popcorn chicken with fries And a Chicken burger And small wedges. No one was getting full off any of them 3 meals. The full staff in the park was 14-15 year old kids. Never had any problems with them but should be a few people around with some experience. The 3D Theatre had a black spot in the upper right of the screen which made it very hard to Focus. One on the seat belts was broken so one less person could get on that ride. The space screen was very boring and we didn’t know Thay could change it. Till the second time and it was a different kid taking care of it and ask what screen we wanted and another lady said the dinosaur one. Now that one was really fun. the first one was a waste of 1 of our 7 things we could do. Needless to say we will not be returning anytime soon. ...
Read moreThe fun we had at Splash n Putt was 5-star, so I really recommend going there for fun with the family. The waterslide, go karts, and bumper boats were so much fun! We went down that waterslide nearly ten times and rode the go karts three times. I recommend going when they open to beat the line ups!
The resort, though, is just 3 out of 5 for the reasons below:
The mini golf area was not as well maintained as other parts of the park. A couple holes just weren't playable and repairs are needed to make it more playable and fun.
The Supernova ride was out of order at the start of the day, was fixed, and then broke again. We checked back a couple times before being able to go on it. Only half of the seats were working, so the wait was longer than normal. We did the ride twice and were able to have two different versions which I enjoyed. "Future car" was our favorite of the two.
The line ups for the rides really need canopies to help block the sun. You're waiting in the sunshine for upwards to 40 minutes when it's busy.
The price list at the park is confusing. I recommend the resort make a more concise price list and for people to either get the day pass (just to save time at the cash) or to research the price options before their visit.
The last and most important reason for the 3-star review is the staff. Not one staff member smiled for the entire six hours we were there. Even the kids mentioned that the staff all seemed sad. For a fun resort, this...
Read moreI love this place due to my fond memories of it. It has its quirks but generally it's a positive experience. The water area is great fun but unheated. The fixtures I would put on the same level as a off Disney resort in Florida.
My last trip left me with a sour experience. How does it get all my family on to one ride of the go-karts we had to wait for several smaller families to go ahead of us. The go-karts are almost a tradition for our family. We decided to go use the bumper cars to give the other smaller families a chance to use it and come back. Unfortunately in this time they shut down the go-kart track due to the track being wet. This was something that was out of our control and if we hadn't been polite to the other guests probably wouldn't have affected us. I figured since it had started raining that maybe the management team would allow us to use our last remaining rids on our bracelets an other day. I was informed that his policy that they don't allow that. Left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I get the feeling that it happens often enough as the staff informed us that it happens a lot and "that's our policy".
So if you're going to this resort understand these policies because...
