I visited the falls in winter and that definitely changes the landscape completely. It was a bit tricky to find the beginning of the trail because you have to park above the road and cross it and follow the trail signs but once in the trail you will not get lost. Right before going down to the falls there's a very steep and slippery part of the trail. You will see rope to hold on while going down. Once you are in front of the frozen falls it's absolutely beautiful. I'd say is an easy to medium level hike not too long not too short. We were snowshoeing so that added up a bit more of effort. A must see in tumbler ridge!!!

I usually don't swing the waterfall way but I'm secure enough to say I thoroughly enjoyed Babcock. I like mountains but I have some friends that love waterfalls and that's OK too. I'm not into waterfalls myself... not that there's anything wrong with that. What you do alone in the privacy of nature with your waterfall is nobody's business but your own.

This place is very beautiful. The hike is short and easy. Getting to the bottom is a little bit more challenging but completely doable. The water was very high so will probably return later in the year when it’s a little bit calmer.
