This beach is great. Park your car outside of the gate if you get their later in the day so you don't get locked in.
We go to this beach to have our own private fires. Lots of areas there to grab a private spot and chill with the sunset. Did I mention you get a great view of the sunset? Well you do.
You can bring your dog (or cat?) and a BBQ. A few stairs to go down, but if you cant handle those maybe stay at home and watch Netflix. But if you have a legit problem with stairs then don't go here, no wheelchair access and its mostly just a dirt trail anyways.

Seeing the clean waters as well as the waves crashing into the shore, brings you into a meditative state of calmness. You get a beautiful view of the downtown Vancouver core from this beach, which is paired with mountains and the ocean breeze.
I can imagine coming to this beach to destress from a long day of study sessions. The beach itself has beautiful long wooden logs and rocks on shore, so I do recommend and suggest wearing appropriate footwear when coming to this beach to explore! Was here last year or the year before when it was low tide n that was a great experience. It's very rocky from the path but it gives great solitude with a view of some of the nearby activities.
