It's remarkable how stunning the scenery and nature is around UBC campus! The epic views of the mountains left me mesmerized. Seeing the clean waters as well as the waves crashing into the shore, brings you into a meditative state of calmness. You get a beautiful view of the downtown Vancouver core from this beach, which is paired with mountains and the ocean breeze. I can imagine coming to this beach to destress from a long day of study sessions. The beach itself has beautiful long wooden logs and rocks on shore, so I do recommend and suggest wearing appropriate footwear when coming to this beach to explore! Parking is available for a few hours and is free for those that would like to come onto the site

Really nice little beach in the UBC area. Small parking lot up top (free, with 3 hour max) with tons of walking trails and beautiful views. The beach itself currently was washed up with a bunch of rocks and logs, but I don't know how that is compared to the summer months. Washrooms available down from the parking lot, picnic benches available. Very clean space. Access to the water is limited with staircases.

I love walking to this beach from UBC. The views of downtown Vancouver, North Vancouver and snow clad peaks are amazing. Perfect place to visit on any weather and have some relaxing time. I love watching sunset from this place, having small picnics with friends, great for BBQ as well. The beach is a bit rocky. I highly recommend visiting this serene beach.

This beach is great. Park your car outside of the gate if you get their later in the day so you don't get locked in.

We go to this beach to have our own private fires. Lots of areas there to grab a private spot and chill with the sunset. Did I mention you get a great view of the sunset? Well you do.

You can bring your dog (or cat?) and a BBQ. A few stairs to go down, but if you cant handle those maybe stay at home and watch Netflix. But if you have a legit problem with stairs then don't go here, no wheelchair access and its mostly just a dirt trail anyways.

But be careful, one time we went here in the summer and there was a naked dude just sprawled out on a log getting his tan on. I don't know if that's allowed or a regular thing,...

It's a nice point to ride to on a bike n it's the furthest beach west except for Wreck Beach ⛱️ if you don't want to do Wreck Beach. Was here last year or the year before when it was low tide n that was a great experience. It's very rocky from the path but it gives great solitude with a view of some of the nearby activities. Last time, there were ppl who were learning to 🪁 surf. If you enjoy less crowds n more space n don't mind the rocks, then this is the...
