I absolutely loved this park!! There is a beach area and a boat launch area and an off leash area for your doggies. There are trails all around or you can opt to stay on the main roads and still soak in the beauty. The upkeep of Aaron Provincial Park is superb! There are outhouse like washrooms all over the park and they do not smell! There is a fish cleaning shack which is also in very clean condition with no smell! There is a shower house which has 4 individual showers, one of which is wheelchair accessable (free) Also at this shower house are washrooms with sinks, a washer (2.50 per load) and a dryer (1.25 per load). I did not use the laundry facilities so I cannot comment on them. But the showers are privat, good water flow and clean. The womens washroom was also very clean... I didn't see the mens but with the cleanliness of the rest of the park one might asume that it is also kept clean. But the scenery and atmosphere is one of the best I have seen. I got lucky to have a big site on the water with a morning view of the sun coming up over the water. I would love to do a whole vacation here instead if just one night. I...

Our family was on the way home from a road trip into Ontario. We are from Manitoba, have camped previously in Ontario, and always looking for new places to stay. We read all the wonderful reviews, pictures are beautiful and thought we would drive around the sites, and see for ourselves the campground, during our road trip home, to prepare for our next summer destination! Stopped at the park office, asked if that would be possible, we were told no, we had to purchase a day pass. I explained we were on our way home and just wanted to take a quick look. (We had no camper in tow, driving a car) Still told we had to purchase a day pass. This may be a policy, understand, but only wanted to take a quick first hand look, and physically see where everything is located. This will not deter us from making the visit next year, love the...

Not impressed. Our site 89 was in what looked like a newly created and still under construction campground. The whole site was mud and ruts from previous campers. We had booked 5 nights but checking out after 2 nights and heading to another park east. Walked around the rest of campground...seems ok but sites are close together. Nothing spectacular. Would only recommend as a short stopover and would NOT recommend sites in the loop with site 89. Mosqitoes were in abundance in our area as this area is extremely bushy and needs some thinning out. Did not appear as bad once we left our loop. Dog beach near this loop is a joke. Room for maybe 3 dogs...any more than that...

Aaron Provincial Park - Visit - July 2024 Overall good park, used for overnighting in route to over places on several occassions. Sites are decent and semi private. Campground was very quiet however you could faintly hear the highway nearby. Park is very well kept. It was easy entrance and check in with sites being relatively easy to get the trailer into. Campground office has a little store if required however Dryden is not far away if you need supplies. Lake is very nice, and there are 2 beaches at this park, both are decent but not great as they are small and a contain a decent amount of weeds. The boat dock looks new and in good shape. Overall recommend a visit.

A hidden gem! I expected it to be busy like Rushing River Provincial Park but it wasn't. The water was chilly at times but refreshing. The camping areas were so peaceful and felt so safe. I recommended this place to my friends and family for a fun vacay. So many washrooms throughout the park which were so clean and fully stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer. *the showers were closed at the time so you may need to call ahead to check. Also some of the washrooms don't have lights so bring a flashlight at night. The beaches are not very handicap accessible fyi
