I thoroughly enjoyed my day. The trail is really nice and the river was warm. The kids and I played a few 100 meters up from the entry point of the falls.

The trail isn't steep but it is narrow and "obstacle-y" in some places with downed trees or branches.

If u go in the water, bring water shoes or tight sandals. The rocks are sharp and jagged, and very very slippery because of the algae. The current is very strong so watch the kids closely.

Make sure you have money to pay the park fee.

Bring your picnic and don't forget to leave with your thrash to keep it beautiful. There are plenty of tables in the shade. There are also bugs. A little bug spray goes a long way to making lunching and hiking more pleasant.

For RV drivers and trailers, the parking is pretty small. Like 6-6 car spots and it's good to keep that in mind when going in. We turned the rig around in a 12point turn (amazing with 40ft trailer) and parked along...

This was a very special experience, providing close access to majestic river rapids. The area closest to the parking lot is great but if you walk a few hundred meters up the path you can access the top of the rapids and it is SO fun to explore. (The path has many roots and rocks but is very easy - if you're sure-footed you can do it in flip flops.) At the top there are many safe, gentle little pools and waterfalls to play in and lots of room to sit and enjoy the river. We had a picnic and sat in the flowing water. You have to mind your little ones but there are plenty of safe areas for them to explore. We've been in the park for a week and this was a...

Moderate difficulty out and back trail. Uphill most of the way there and rocky in places which can make it difficult to climb. We had our 3 and 4 year old kids with us and they needed to be shouldered at times and take breaks along the way. Beautiful scenery of the waterfalls and many picture opportunities. Picnic area available as well. If you go right at the trailhead and then cross the highway (be careful!) there is a large sandy area where you can swim or the kids can run around. Overall this a great spot to visit and worth...
