Note - this is the location of the rainbow falls hike (the actual rossport campground is on the other side of the highway, along the lake). But about the hike: So fun! Loved playing on the rocks around the falls! And the falls just kept going! The rocks are all a beautiful pink colour too! They did an excellent job with the boardwalk and had several nice openings allowing for closer viewing and exploring! After crossing the bridge it becomes a regular hike for about a half a kilometre to a really nice lookout point! As a heads up, it says lookout #1, but we didn't see a lookout #2 or anything...we did go another 50-100 metres though and did get a nice view of Lake Superior! But there isn't a distinct turnaround point beyond that sign, so don't get distracted by the beauty or you'll be walking way longer than you bargained for! (PS not a...

We camped at the Rossport site and drove to the main park for part of the day. The falls were beautiful. Well worth the stop and day trip. We have a responsive dog so decided not to take her on the very narrow walkway. More side outs would help with that, but I understand that would be an awful lot of work to make that addition. I believe there was about 182 steps going 1 way on the boardwalk so if your knees are bad, consider the risk of going down that far and then back up. If you are able, the view is gorgeous! The Rossport site is a small but very comfortable campground on...

Super nice campground, view is stunning and everything was clean. Only annoying thing was we showed up at like 630pm and the office was already closed, so we had to go online see what sites are available, pick a site that way, then go back online and sign up with Ontario parks camping or whatever it's called, book the site and then pay online. Yet, there was an Ontario parks supervisor roaming the grounds allllll night up until like 10pm. Why couldn't they book us in and make it easier? Idk. Not a big deal just took us and another couple guys like 15-20 minutes to figure...

It was a very nice park. The section we were in (Rossport Campground) is tiny and feels like a little private campground. It has a loop with powered sites as well as a non-electrical loop. You are right at the water with a nice view. There are a few large sites for longer rigs so that's good. Also, there's about 6 or 8 seasonal sites. Potable water is available here but no dump station. You would have to go east to the main campground which is about 10mins away.

Very nice Provincial Park campground. It was a bit more open than most we have seen on our trip, but they had power and water hookup for our Motorhome. The views were spectacular, but that seems par for the course anywhere along Lake Superior. They have washrooms with showers and laundry, so good place to spend some time. The pebble Beach is beautiful and makes you want to jump in the lake, despite the temperature!
