Secord Forest Oak Ridges Trail — Attraction in Uxbridge

My family love this trail the most is that it is a very nice long circle walk! It will roughly takes 45mins to walk the entire whole thing! It won’t like most of the trail that you need to walk the same way back. And the parking lot barely gets too busy. We ‘ve been here a lot. Even the same view like the picture down there that shows very different of the beauty!! Amazing nature energy out there! Love it! Love it!! ……just Came the beginning of the summer.. TOO MANY Mosquitos!!!! O M G!!!! Be aware!!!! I have to be honest ,This trail is not recommend it on Summer at all! But , other seasons...

Beautiful and peaceful trail in Oak Ridges! Secord Forest is a fantastic 4+ km hike that takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete. The trails are well-marked, winding through wood, slight elevations, a pond, and a few small creeks — truly one of the better trails for hiking in the area. It can get a bit muddy after rain, so good footwear helps. If you go left, then right from the parking lot, down the grassy road, you’ll find a touching little pet cemetery — a moving and unexpected discovery that makes this place even more...

Gorgeous trail with varied environments. The trails are fairly well marked (if a little confusing from the parking lot) with the white marked Great Trail and the blue marked Side Trail. Following the white trail also connects to several other local forests and conservation areas. The boardwalks in the side trail are in slightly rough shape, some boards rotted through, but the trail is gorgeous and well worth the sights.
