Knox's Dam — Attraction in Victoria Cross

Beautiful spot to go and explore! Just make sure you’re being safe near the water, lots of green algae on the rocks.

Edit: Just visited the dam again today and was shocked to see it gated up with a lock!! Very unwelcoming, we weren’t even sure if we could go in until another couple walked around the gates! Some sort of signage to let people know if they’re welcomed or not would be helpful. We drove from Summerside to visit and were very disappointed by this. Knox's Dam doesn't really have an address for it. The entrance is hidden. The entrance is beside a red house. It's a dirt road that goes through some trees.

The dam is small. The river is on the left and the dam is spread out. The river continues to flow to the right, down a fall that seems to be man made.

There's a pathway that lets you take a boat, small boat, canoe or kayak onto the river. You can go fishing there too it seems. We saw a guy on a small motorized boat in the river.
