Manoir Maplewood — Attraction in Waterloo

We were received by friendly staff and then up two large sets of staircases to a lovely room under the eves of this magnificently restored property. Not an experience for the mobility impaired as there don't seem to be rooms without stair access. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and we enjoyed the warm salt water pool and Jacuzzi and the little sauna. Luxurious robes are provided even in the standard rooms - a touch of class. The design of the rooms, as mentioned elsewhere, is minimalist and calming. Less calming is the total lack of surface space to put down even the most minimalist toiletry kits - we were lucky that ours were the hanging kind. There is only one mirror in the room, and the lighting of it makes it hard to apply even the most basic makeup. The situation was being addressed with a small makeup mirror, but there was nowhere to put it! Also, nowhere to hang a long dress, which might be needed for people staying for a formal event (wedding). With a recent reno, one might have provided usb outlets for phone charging rather than have the guests crawl behind the furniture in a hunt for outlets.||If you want find dining, you have to travel to nearby larger towns (Granby), otherwise, the local diner provides a simple but...

I wish I could give Manoir Maplewood a 10 star. My now husband and I were looking for a destination wedding within driving distance of NH—the Manoir is a dreamy, French venue that fulfilled all of our dreams. It created a spectacular weekend with our closest family & friends, all staying onsite throughout the weekend. The bedrooms are incredibly comfortable, the venue is spectacular (truly). And I cannot rave enough on the service and team there. Theo, the venue’s manager, is incredibly talented, always willing to help, etc. Theo seamlessly helped throughout and made our day go off without a hitch. Sandy who also helps manage the venue was AMAZING and her entire team ensured the space was immaculate for the weekend. Our wedding weekend at Manoir Maplewood was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the venue and the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was flawless. The manor itself is gorgeous, with elegantly decorated rooms and picturesque grounds that made for stunning wedding photos.

While the pool was a bit dirty and had some water level issues, we understand it had just been opened for the season in early May, so this was a minor inconvenience. It didn’t detract from our overall experience at all.
