This beach lives up to its name, it's actually quite sandy. It was reasonably empty which was great for the kids. Its close to Wawa, albeit down a gravel road. I initially drove in via Tremblay road which is north of the hwy 101 junction. That was is a few km of gravel road which should be fine in a passenger car. Read moregreat little beach a little off the beaten path outside Wawa, ON. Not far off the highway. Clean clear water, very sandy, unlike many Superior east & north shore pebble beaches. Shallow, so good for kids. Beach was clean and not many people. topic-like sand. One end of the beach near the creek is quite wide with lots of sand. the water is cool but that’s typical of Superior.
Not sure if there are restrooms. Come prepared to take care of yourself everything...
