Many excellent vacation/cottages are available for year round enjoyment Ice huts for rental and you can overnight on the lake in style to be Up early when the fish are biting!!!! And don't forget the Chief Commanda2 a excellent way to spend the day on the water enjoining a relaxing tour of beautiful Lake Nipissing!!!!! REMEMBER HWY 400 NORTH STRAIGHT ON TO HWY 11 NORTH IS FOUR LANED ALL THE WAY TO NORTH BAY EXCELLENT SAFE TRAVELING!!!!!! A DIVIDED HWY WITH SMOOTH SAILING!!!!

I travelled to North Bay from Toronto for the first time for my sister’s birthday. We planned to go out for a walk to the pier since it was a pleasant day. Everything was in the process of freezing. But since it was a sunny day so my husband and I along with my sister liked our walk. Everything was so calm. I will definitely come back in summers.

Been staying with Nipissing Bungalows for years now and look forward to our annual trip. Fishing is hit and miss but we usually do well. Great way to spend a weekend with family and friends sleeping on the ice.

Great lake, fishing was good. A few places that you have to be careful about rocks if you are in a boat. Average depth is not very deep but tons of spots to find bass walleye and perch. Manitou Island has a really nice natural beach, water is clear and clean. Waterfront Marina gives you very good access with a boat launch. Champlain has a decent spot to launch smaller boats for free but beware of the narrow channel getting out...

Beautiful place to be. Very little polution means swimming is possible at any point really. This May it hit 67°F when i was up there, if you fancy a cold dip.

Fishkng is also always great with fish like Sunfish, Bluegill, Catfish, Bass, Walleye, Pike, and Muskie. There are also Freshwater Drum, which are an awesome fight to reel in.

Very beautiful place at all times of the year, would for sure buy a cottage up...
