It was two in the morning, the date was fun, we were just winding down, smoking a couple jazz cigarettes, enjoying the amazing view of Vancouver on a clear Saturday night. We were then joined by two fellers that showed up and serenaded us with the cool easy stylings of Fetty Wap, Tekashi 6x9, it was very nice. They got out started walking toward us, but thank goodness, Lil Uzi Vert was now tickling the ivories from one of their phones. The smaller of the two (The smaller feller could have still been gigantic as the big new friend was 6'7", 350 lbs, easy, but was only 5'6" buck sixty, soaking wet.) began shadow boxing and telling his friend to take pictures of him, which were never "gangster" enough for the photographers approval. We sat there on a bench, five feet away, still smoking our devils cabbage and quietly joking about how bad I was going to get stabbed by the riled up shadow boxer. Just then, his phone rang... "MOM!!! I'LL BE HOME SOON!!!" He walked away to argue with his mom that he will be home before his dad needs the truck for work early sunday morning. The giant then turned off the Trippy Redd they were listening when his friend walked away and switched it over to "With or Without You" from U2. He smoked his blunt, we smoked our cone, we all enjoyed the song, the view, the buzz. Then tiny guy fired up dads truck, the giant quickly switched his music to Migos and they hightailed it out of there. We finished our last spliff, breathed it in along with the quiet lights of that bright city, then went home for the night. That was the night I told her I loved her and she told me the same.
EDIT! We broke up 6 months later... place wasn't as magical as I thought. Still......
