We had a nice time tubing but arguably enjoyed the snowshoeing even more. The four tubing runs were open. They were pretty tame and there wasn’t much variety among them. I would have preferred some variation and more excitement. Less wait in line would have been nicer too. The staff was super nice and really helped with groups tubing together. Driving in and parking was easy and safe even in the snowy rain. I like it better when the tubing shares the same lodge area as the main slope. Yeah it is busier but we get more of a resort feeling.

Cypress snow tubing is great for kids to burn energy outdoors since they can hike up the slope. They do have the tube transporting system to bring you up the slope as well but usually have a long lineup in the beginning. I would recommend hiking up in the first few runs because it is a lot faster to get up and still don't have a lineup to slide down yet to maximize the number of runs you can do. Snow boots are needed to hike up the slope.

Gnarly’s tube park was pretty decent fun for the kids, however if we didn’t have free tickets, chances are we wouldn’t have gone as the ticket prices were quite expensive for only having 2 lanes for tubing. Not much value for what people have to pay for regular priced tickets. Although initially fun for the first 10 minutes, most of the time was spent waiting in line. Rinse and repeat, not much excitement.

The tubing experience is fun. However, a lot of things ruined this for us.

After paying nearly $150 for a tubing session for our family, our visit was cut short because we got a parking ticket 3 minutes after parking our car.

AFTER scanning our tickets (we were in a large group including our family, and two other families), the guy who SAW us park and who we asked where to pay for parking decided to write us a parking ticket! My wife and I then needed to leave the tubing area to deal with this. This process consumed 15–20 minutes of our reserved tubing time. After reaching out to Cypress mountain, their team said, "We have had a few complaints regarding how quickly parking tickets are being issued and we have provided this feedback to our team to help provide a better service moving forward."

Absolutely no accountability for this being an ongoing issue either.

Be aware as well that they'll cut off going up the hill 20-minutes prior to the next session, so if you think you're getting 2 hours, you're not. It's also extremely busy, so be prepared to wait quite some time...

Disappointing. Much too busy. Long lines with only 4 runs open. The 2 hour limit on your pass is really annoying because you spend so much more time waiting to slide or waiting to be pulled up the hill than you do actually sliding. We walked up the hill all but 1 time because the line-up for the pull up was too long)

The staff were all super friendly and helpful (5 stars for them), but it would have been a better experience for my boys if more runs were available and the waits between slides were shorter. My youngest son had lots of fun over on the sledding hill since he is still too small for the tubes.

In the end, the drive out was beautiful and it was an adventure, but my older boys, 10, 8 and 6 said that wouldn't go back as they've had more fun at other places when it...

Family of 3, (cost $133 cdn) booked tickets for tubing from 10:00 -12:00, during the Christmas Holiday. It took 45 min to line up for the actual ticket, & attend the safety orientation. Kids, 6 &8, were beside themselves, standing around in winter clothes, excited to get to the snow and doing nothing. Finally get to the Tubing park where the lineup was so long they only got in 2 runs!! And that's it, you have to leave when your times up. The kids were very upset and disappointed. Obviously the Tubing park was overbooked - it's just a money grab now with no concern for service. Waste of time and $$. We are a North Shore family and for 50 years Cypress has been our go to for winter sports- but that ends now. Can I give NO stars...
