Petersfield Provincial Park — Attraction in Westmount

Pretty, well groomed paths and grassed areas. Lovely place for a walk, run or picnic. Dogs on leash. Paths are by the bay, parklands and woodlands, with residential area on one section. Plenty of parking. Park is largely unused. Paths are fine gravel and are accessible. Foundations of heritage buildings present.

Latrines are without running water, but did provide hand sanitizer. These are near the parking lot.

Access to water via stone beach; not posted as swimmable or not. No changing buildings suggest few use it for swimming. Commercial docks and Coast Guard Collage share the same waters.

Beautiful Huge park with -bathrooms, long groomed trail, spots to stop and look at the coastguard college, and the water on the other side, also a hugeee open mowed Feild for families to play and kids to run around safely! They have shaded picnic areas for eating and small fire pits to bbq hotdogs ect, bathrooms, a tap for water for animals and thirst people, Massive parking lot, Fantastic park, well looked after!!👏🏼👏🏼 Good job maintenance crews 👏🏼. Large open easy-going walking trails with lots of benchs picnics tables and side trails. A small beach area too to walk as well. Great spot to walk dogs as well and a large parking lot. Tends to be active. Lots of apple trees and large trees in general. And a great spot to feed birds.

It was an old estate ran by an admiralty and some small ruins still are around like foundations and a well. Overall a good place that takes just over an hour to walk at a...
