I love this little park and the walking trails, I have revently just started walking the trails with my walking buddy and also my dog, and sometimes my husband. I find it so beautiful down there through all the seasons of the year! I would LOVE to see some solar lights along the path at night though for those who walk the path at night so they could feel a little safer and see a little better. I love this place it is such a beautiful place to go to get things off your mind. I would reccoment to people to come and walk the beautiful path. I also love the little things they do along the path for the holidays for example I love the little tree display they have done for Easter it is so cute and I think it is a good idea as it also gets the kids involved in wanting to take a walk down the path because there are little stories and decorations. I think you have all done an amazing job at keeping it clean and beautiful for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for the...

By the lake park a great place to hangout with friends and family or just by yourself. A very clean park with plenty of space to having a personal get together with friends and family. There's a path that wraps around the man-made lake that you can enjoy. Halfway around the path there's a gazebo, if you want to look at the lake and enjoy the park's beauty. There's indoor washrooms, a place for a big indoor event and sometimes you can buy icecream at the main building. There's saskatoons free for the picking. What's a park without a playground that has trees in the right places and with a water sprinkler at a push of a button. There's plenty of benches throughout the beautiful park. A deck that you can go look at the water fowls, ducks, geese, swans and pelicans. Check it out you will enjoy by...

This is a great little place to go for a walk. It's frequented by many locals, away from the city core and has many amenities to make for a pleasant visit. It is kept fairly clean by city staff and is beautifully laid out. Staff and volunteers put up and maintain bird feeders and houses, which keeps wildlife abundant. Many dog owners take their animals for walks here, which sometimes results in off-leash confrontations and failure to remove droppings - this is not the fault of the park and staff, but of the animal owners. There is an off-leash park right next to it, which can be accessed either by walking through BTLP or driving up to. It's one of my favorite places to go for some fresh air, nice scenery and taking photos. It is also a common nesting ground for geese and...

I am totally loving this park! The name of the park made me laugh. There is a 2.5 km paved walking trail around the lake and a very large off-leash dog area in the northwest corner. It is a great place not only to exercise yourself on the pathway system but also to exercise your dog! Lots of trees and very good signage throughout the park. There are lots of picnic benches and the park has always been clean every time I have been there. I have also seen amazing wildlife. Wetaskiwin residents such a beautiful walking trail!!

Nice little park. Pathway loops around the whole lake and is about 5km total. Great for bird watching (geese, pelicans, seagulls, ducks). Lots of benches to sit at, play structure for kids, a dock, and gazebo. Quiet, not a lot of people, which is a plus. Dog friendly (must leash). The only downside is that the path isn't double wide the whole loop.
