The parking is free but very limited; there is the roadside parking as well. There are boat rentals (paddle boards/kayak/canoe) available and a small snack bar for cool treats or refreshments. If you get there early you can grab some prime real estate and spend a whole day swimming, paddling, or jumping off the dock or swim platform. My boys and I walked from Alpha lake along the trail with our dog past nita lake, towards alta lake where Lakeside park is. There is a small facility here to rent watercraft, a small beach and a dock area to swim from and launch toys. You can also purchase nonalcoholic drinks and ice creams from the hut when it gets too hot. Small area, but cozy and nice quiet area to laze around in.
