It's a peaceful place very close to Yellowknife. The river has a serene beauty and there's a public area with public benches and firepits for picnics and grills. There's also a playground for kids. Unfortunately there are not many trails for walking. A popular place for launching boat rides and fishing, too! Family-friendly ambience.
